No Certificate of Eligibility is required for enrollment at our school. Although we follow the Quebec Ministry of Education programs, we are an independent private institution and do not receive government subsidies, allowing us to accept students without this requirement.
A non-refundable assessment fee of $50 must accompany each application form. Payment of the fee does not guarantee admission. The fee covers the administrative work involved in processing an application.
A non-refundable enrollment fee of $200 is due upon acceptance of admission to North Star Academy Laval. The parents or guardians must confirm registration each academic year by forwarding a completed contract, together with a non-refundable Enrollment Fee of $200.
North Star Academy Laval offers discounts for families who have 2, 3 children attending our school. Family Discounts are available to families who are Canadian Citizens, or holding a Permanent Resident Card, and are permanently residing in the greater Montreal area.

On Thursday September 13th, NSAL is hosting its annual Orientation Night. This important night gives parents an opportunity to meet their child's teachers, see what the curriculum will be for the year and learn about whats new and upcoming for the school year. This year, this evening will feature time to circulate and get to know the teachers, a Head of School address, Principal Information Session and an overview of this years use of technology from out IT department. Following the orientation portion of the evening is this academic year's first School Committee meeting. Come and join us for this informative evening.
